Card Game Rules: Babbage

Babbage is a newly discovered card game, based on the binary code (0 and 1) and the placement of cards in numerical order.

Basics
There must be an odd number of players.
Red cards are "on".
Black cards are "off".
Jokers reverse the direction.
Other picture cards can "launch" a new line.
Ace automatically "launches".
When you have 1 card left, shout "Babbage!"
The winner is the first person to use all their cards, and they receive all bets from the table.


The Game
Each player is dealt 3 cards.
On those three cards, you must either fold or bet that you will win the game.
The player left of the dealer begins.
Place cards in a line from Left to Right. As the game gets bigger, the previous cards may be pushed aside.
The first card played must be red. After this, all cards will be laid in opposite colours, so red, black, red black, and the numerical value must increase. The next card can be of an equal, or higher value.

After a card of Jack or higher (black) is placed, you can start a new row, this is called "launching" and when you do so, say "launch". Playing a red Ace will automatically initiate Launch.
New rows must begin with a red card.

When you have 1 card left, declare this by shouting "Babbage".
